.....contd............ had market stalls (including, notably, The Apple Market, Covent Garden, London - stall number 1); worked with autistic young people (and still do) ...... not to mention the odd stint in I.T., construction, food factories and shops.  

 

In the outdoors industry, I freelanced with a variety of companies before founding WMT.  I also have an ongoing involvement with the Duke of  Edinburgh Award; in fact my outdoor career started with this when I was teaching and a member of the London Schools Mountaineering Association. .....   I have trained young people for Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions and assessed to Gold as well.  As a freelancer I have worked in the Peaks, Wales and the Lakes.  I have led groups abroad; to Spain (the Picos de Europa), Morocco (Jbel Sarrho) Romania (Transylvanian Alps) and Iceland (the Laugavegurinn).
