Hi,

   I’m Nick Clark, Managing Director of WMT Ltd.

Please Note that this site is a work in progress ......... Please let me know if you spot any errrors and yes, there are some gaps.... but it is growing ....... sort of organically .......like mould!

Thank you to those people who have already helped in that respect..  

I started working in the outdoors in 1990ish; very much part-time at first.  My love of  outdoor activities started further back when, in my early 20s a friend persuaded me to walk the Cleveland Way long distance path.  I loved the sense of  isolation, the hills, the mist, the sea cliffs.  From there, I explored (parts of) the Peaks, Wales and Scotland in turn, eventually getting involved with rock climbing, paddling, gorge walking and mountain biking.  Further afield I have trekked in the Alps, the Picos de Europa, Morocco (Jbel Toubkal), Romania, and Iceland.

Taking my working life as a whole, the majority of it has been spent as a teacher in secondary schools (art, design and technology).  I have also spent some years as an artist/designer/woodworker; .............................
